Numotion Foundation Supports LoveYourBrain Foundation
Recovery after brain injury often extends far beyond traditional rehabilitation. Through its Yoga for Health Professionals Training, LoveYourBrain Foundation is helping clinicians integrate holistic, evidence-based practices into care, supporting improved recovery, resilience, and quality of life for individuals living with traumatic brain injury and stroke.
Expanding Healing Through Holistic Neurorehabilitation
Each LoveYourBrain training cohort serves 40 to 60 clinicians, with two trainings held annually and approximately 100 professionals participating each year. Through support from the Numotion Foundation, six clinicians received tuition scholarships to attend the a 2026 training, gaining skills and confidence to incorporate adaptive yoga, trauma-informed mindfulness, and resilience education into neurorehabilitation care.
Delivered online, the training reaches clinicians across the United States and internationally, including professionals working in outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, acute care settings, and TBI Model Systems programs serving urban, suburban, and rural communities. While the grant directly supported six scholarship recipients, the impact reaches far beyond those participants. Each trained clinician is estimated to serve 50 to 100 brain injury patients annually, creating a ripple effect that expands access to holistic rehabilitation nationwide.
Funding from the Numotion Foundation helped strengthen a growing network of healthcare professionals advancing care for patients with mobility-related disabilities, helping ensure more individuals can benefit from comprehensive support throughout their recovery journey.
Nick To, Development Manager of LoveYourBrain Foundation explained that “We are deeply grateful to the Numotion Foundation for investing in the LoveYourBrain Yoga for Health Professionals Training and helping us expand access to evidence-based, holistic health services after brain injury. Your support empowers clinicians nationwide to better serve brain injury patients with mobility-related disabilities, leading to improved recovery, resilience, and quality of life.”
Through this partnership, more clinicians are equipped with innovative tools to support healing, and more individuals living with brain injury are gaining access to care that supports the whole person.
