Numotion Foundation Supports Achilles Nashville
The Achilles Nashville Hope & Possibility® Race brought together 225 participants at McCabe Park Richland Creek Greenway, where inclusion and athleticism took center stage. Nearly one-third of participants represented individuals with disabilities, competing across multiple divisions including Ambulatory Disability, Handcycle, Pushrim Wheelchair, Racing Wheelchair, and Visually Impaired categories.
Running Toward Possibility with Achilles Nashville
With support from the Numotion Foundation, Achilles Nashville was able to fund participation for athletes with disabilities and cover essential race items such as t-shirts, snacks, and hydration. The contribution also made it possible for these athletes to lead a race open to everyone, ultimately showcasing their abilities and inspiring others to move beyond perceived limits.
While the race itself takes place in Nashville, the spirit of Hope & Possibility® reaches far beyond, with virtual participants joining from across the U.S. and as far as Mexico.
“Funding from the Numotion Foundation helps lower barriers and make community events like the Hope & Possibility® Race more accessible,” said Amy Harris, Executive Director of Achilles International – Nashville. “This support promotes inclusion and equity by removing financial obstacles, allowing individuals of all ages and abilities to participate. Numotion Foundation’s contribution creates lasting change, motivating athletes to achieve new goals and cross the finish lines.”
Through partnership and participation, Achilles Nashville continues to prove that every finish line is just the start of what’s possible.
