The Numotion Foundation partnered with Texas Ramp Project in the Dallas area to build six ramps for persons in need of a ramp but who could not afford them. Over 60 Numotion Foundation volunteers (and several Numotion vehicles) were utilized and the team was enthusiastic to help provide resident access to the community. The day began early with several Numotion Foundation volunteers meeting at the Texas Ramps warehouse to load material at 7 am. The remaining volunteers met at recipient homes 8 am.
Before lunch, all six ramps (over 100 ramp feet) were constructed allowing families to safely come and go without external assistance. Among the six clients, three lived alone and all used either wheelchairs and/or walkers. One client was a dialysis patient whose treatments required her to leave the home at least three times per week.
