Numotion Foundation Continues to Support University of Nebraska Medical Center

The University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Multiple Sclerosis at Home Access (MAHA) program is the only model of its kind in the country. Focused on individuals with advanced disability due to Multiple Sclerosis or similar demyelinating diseases, the program supports the whole person: promoting independence, community participation, and overall well-being.

Community Connections Through Movement

MAHA has served over 200 individuals across Nebraska and Western Iowa, many of whom rely on medically necessary manual and power wheelchair systems to safely navigate daily life and stay engaged in their communities. Numotion proudly partners with MAHA to help provide the essential mobility technology these individuals depend on.

To continue expanding access to community wellness opportunities, MAHA hosts its annual MS Strong Community Race Event — a celebration that brings together people living with MS, their families, care partners, and supporters. Proceeds fund monthly scholarships for participants to access two local MS-specific community gyms, either in person or through virtual technology. These opportunities help combat social isolation and support both physical and mental health.

Funding from the Numotion Foundation has supported the MS Strong event for the past three years, strengthening MAHA’s ability to sustain and grow their life-changing services.
