Numotion Foundation Continues to Support the American Parkinson Disease Association Northwest Chapter
The American Parkinson’s Disease Association Northwest Chapter recently hosted the Optimism Walk in Washington State, welcoming 322 participants from King County and surrounding areas including Pierce and Kitsap Counties. The event celebrated the Parkinson’s community while raising vital funds to support year-round programs, education, and resources for individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s disease.
Bringing the Parkinson’s Community Together
Funding from the Numotion Foundation helped offset the costs of hosting the walk, ensuring that more of the dollars raised by participants went directly toward mission-based services. With this support, APDA Northwest was able to break records, deliver a meaningful and inspiring experience for the community, and further strengthen programs that help people live well with Parkinson’s.
“The Numotion Foundation’s sponsorship made it possible to both deliver a meaningful and inspiring event experience and strengthen the year-round services APDA Northwest offers to help people live well with Parkinson’s,” said Heidi Murdock, Fundraising Events Manager.
Thanks to partners like the Numotion Foundation, events like the Optimism Walk continue to bring people together, increase awareness, and provide critical resources that improve the lives of those impacted by Parkinson’s disease in the Northwest.
