Numotion Foundation Continues to Support Children’s Hospital Colorado
The Adaptive Recreation for Childhood Health (ARCH) program at Children’s Hospital Colorado is helping kids and young adults with physical and medical conditions discover the power of play, movement, and community. Serving more than 200 families, ARCH offers year-round adaptive sports and outdoor adventures. From skiing and rock climbing to golf and water sports, ARCH is designed to build confidence, independence, and joy.
Encouraging Adventure and Confidence Through Adaptive Recreation
Thanks to support from the Numotion Foundation, ARCH expanded its programming to include new “Try It Days,” one-time events that introduce participants to adaptive activities. Families can participate free of charge, removing barriers and giving every child the chance to explore something new.
“These one-time programs introduce participants to new sports and activities in a supportive, welcoming environment. Families can experience these programs free of charge, lowering barriers and helping kids grow and discover new interests,” said Andrea Colucci, Program Manager at ARCH.
Together, ARCH and the Numotion Foundation are creating opportunities for children to grow stronger, more confident, and more connected through the joy of adaptive recreation.
