Numotion Foundation Continues Support of Peace, Love, and ACCESSibility Community Awareness Day
The Numotion Foundation was proud to continue its support Peace, Love, and ACCESSibility’s Community Awareness Day event, held in June. The organization, headquartered in Connecticut, was founded on principles of compassion, education and advocacy. Peace, Love, and ACCESSibility is dedicated to fostering inclusivity, promoting accessibility, and empowering individuals with physical disabilities.
Executive Director of Peace, Love, and ACCESSibility, Alex Bode provided the following impact story:
“On June 28, 2025, we held our second annual Community Access Awareness Day, and we’re thrilled to share that it exceeded all expectations. What began as a dream just a year ago has grown into a powerful movement. This year, over 200 attendees, neighbors, advocates, businesses, and community leaders came together with one unified message: accessibility matters.
The day was filled with energy and connection. Guests enjoyed delicious food, uplifting live music, insightful vendors, and meaningful activities, including our popular “wheelchair reality check,” which gave attendees a chance to experience first-hand the challenges of navigating physical barriers.
But the event did more than bring people together. It sparked conversations and inspired commitments to lasting change. Our message about the importance of ADA compliance and equitable access reached more people than ever before. We ended the day feeling hopeful, empowered, and more united in our mission.
We are deeply grateful for the continued partnership of the Numotion Foundation and for the dedicated involvement of our wheelchair assessment physical therapist from Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, Jillian Cacopardo. Her presence at this year’s event reflects her deep commitment to the people she serves, and we’re especially excited about her willingness to continue working alongside Peace Love ACCESSibility.
Looking ahead, we hope to further grow our relationship with the Numotion Foundation. We would be honored to have your support again next year and to welcome Numotion as a vendor at the event to share your valuable perspective with the community.
