Numotion Foundation Continues Support of Dare2Tri

The Numotion Foundation recently continued its support of Dare2Tri, a Chicago-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the lives of individuals living with physical disabilities and visual impairments by building confidence, community, health, and wellness through swimming, biking, and running.

Keri Serota, Executive Director of Dare2Tri, provided the following impact story:

At Dare2tri, our mission is to empower athletes of all abilities—from beginners to elite competitors—in their journey toward physical activity, goal-setting, and meaningful community engagement. Our programs change lives by fostering self-esteem, confidence, and overall well-being. We believe that everyone deserves access to the transformative power of sports, regardless of physical limitations, and we work hard to eliminate barriers to participation for those with physical disabilities and visual impairments.

Thanks to the support from the Numotion Foundation grant, we’re able to host paratriathlon camps where participants from across the country join us for three days of swimming, biking, running, and racing. Each summer, we offer four camps, including our flagship Learn2Tri Camp for beginners and Train2Race Camp for intermediate and advanced athletes. These camps provide more than just training; they foster resilience, create lasting bonds, and build confidence both on and off the course. For those who need it, Dare2tri also provides adaptive equipment, guides for visually impaired athletes, travel stipends, and transportation assistance—ensuring that no one is left behind due to financial or logistical barriers.

With the generosity of the Numotion Foundation, we’re able to offer these life-changing experiences to hundreds of participants each year, often at little or no cost depending on financial need. This support helps make Dare2tri’s camps truly inclusive, opening doors for individuals to realize their potential, push their limits, and achieve personal milestones they might have thought were out of reach. Thank you for helping us make these transformative moments possible!
