Numotion Foundation Continues Support of Children’s Hospital of Colorado

The Numotion Foundation was proud to continue its support of Children’s Hospital of Colorado and their Adaptive Recreation for Childhood Health (ARCH) program. The ARCH program was established to help kids living with physical disabilities find confidence and freedom through sports and outdoor recreation.

Andrea Colucci, CRTS, Operations Manager of ARCH provided the following impact story:

In July 2024, the Numotion Foundation provided sponsorship to support the Children’s Hospital Colorado Courage Classic Bicycle Tour, and the Adaptive Recreation for Childhood Health (ARCH) program.

The ARCH program is a part of the Rehabilitation and Therapy Service Line at Children’s Hospital Colorado. ARCH provides year-round recreational resources and programs for kids and young adults living with a variety of physical and medical conditions including cancer, amputations, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, head and spinal cord injuries, and other orthopedic conditions.

Through adaptive recreation programs, day and overnight camp experiences- over 140 kids participated in ARCH this year. From adaptive skiing and biking, to rock climbing and zip lining, this program seeks to help kids develop skills that lead to a lifetime of healthy leisure and recreation and to find the confidence and freedom through sports and outdoor recreation. ARCH also serves as a resource for parents looking for additional recreational programs in the community.

This sponsorship from the Numotion Foundation has allowed ARCH to expand our biking program this summer:

  • ‘Our bike program has quickly grown to be a participant and family favorite. Families get to enjoy a Saturday morning ride together, regardless of their ability or equipment. It is amazing to see the growth in both the participant’s skill and confidence as they take on rides they may have never thought possible.’ – Hayley Bevan, ARCH Program Coordinator
