MS Achievement Center’s 2019 Race to Nowhere

The 21st Annual Race To Nowhere took place on February 23rd at the Kirmayer Fitness Center in Kansas City. Participants raced stationary bikes as fast as they could to raise support for the MS Achievement Center to continue to provide life-changing programs for adults with multiple sclerosis. 2019 USA Hockey Sled Classic

In early February, the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab Blackhawks hosted the 2018-2019 USA Hockey Sled Classic — and defeated the Colorado Avalanche 8-2 in the championship game. As champions, the Blackhawks keep their claim on the O’Connor Courage Trophy. Players’ names are inscribed on the trophy, which is housed at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, Canada. Thirty teams participated in the tournament and each was sponsored by an NHL team from across the country. The first ever Numotion Foundation fundraiser took place at the Numotion National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas. More than 750 Numotion employees participated in a carnival-like affair – the event featured photo opportunities with Numo, Numotion’s sponsored service dog, and midway games featuring adaptive sports activities created by Numotion Expo partners.
